Subject 1 Subject 2
Master Course   The one regular subject that the examinee took already or is taking in the semester except the required subjects. The one regular subject that the examinee took already or is taking in the semester except the major elective or required subjects.
Ph. D and Combined Course Solid Mechanics & Manufacturing The two regular subjects from Theory of Elasticity, Finite Element Method, or Advanced Dynamics. The two regular subjects that the examinee took already except the subjects he selected for Subject 1.
Thermal & Fluid Mechanics The two regular subjects from Advanced Thermodynamics, Advanced Fluid Mechanics, or Convection Heat Transfer.
  • Master course: The minimum qualified score should be the same or greater than 80 points out of 100.
  • Ph. D and Combined Course: The qualification is decided based on the summation points of Subject 1 and Subject 2.
    The summation should be the same or greater than 80 points when each subject is marked on the basis of 100.
  • Engineering Analysis and Special topics should not be chosen as Subjects of Test.
  • The student in Combined Course is eligible to get the qualifying test after taking the same or greater than 36 credits.
  • For graduation, the student in Ph. D and Combined Course should publish two or more paper. Among them, one ore more should be in the journal listed in SCI or SCIE.
  • If undergraduate student gets a regular subject in Dept. of Mechanical Engineering of Ajou Graduate School, the subject is considered as an elective of ABEEK.
